I think many of us are pretty easy to find out. but stupid company firewall block facebook, so I can't go on until I get home today.

soo... if adcoms for some reason read GMATClub, they can join our facebook group and she who is who, and all our 'secrets' will be out :) they will know which school is our #1 and which are our 'safety' schools..... I know the adcoms probably don't read either GMATclub or facebook group chat, but still.... why risk being exposed? :)

Actually, PM-ing won't work. We (me or Oleg) have to receive inquiry to join the group and then we log in and click on Confirm button.

Is there a way to upload a file into facebook? I've made a file with profiles from wiki (guys, please, fill in your profiles. I couldn't find some people, registered in facebook and known at GMATclub) adding up real names, locations and photos, just to organize what was told in several pages at wall.

We discussed that around 2 months ago, and I was also concerned with that, but after my first admission I decided to join facebook.

If you don't want to be there until your application process is ended, fine. If you don't want to be even afterwards, also fine. I believe It's just a question of constructing another networking link.

But still, it is about anyone's choice. And they probably DO read forums...

They can probably already identify us, because probably not many people apply with the same stats from a given nationality... and we give out a lot of other clues (the date on which we submit, when we get interview invites, when we interview, where we live right now), and therefore I think it is farily easy to identify each of us

hmmmm... but if they read the forums

Adcoms do read the boards but I dont think its to match people to profiles.
