Hello Team,

I attended the MBA Spotlight sessions on June 13, 2025 for both Emory Goizueta and Duke Fuqua.

For Emory Goizueta, I received an email from GMAT Club stating that I was eligible for an application fee waiver, and to expect a follow-up email directly from the school. I have not yet received this.

For Duke Fuqua, the message stated that all attendees would receive a $75 discount code, and that a few would get a full waiver. I also have not yet received any instructions/code for this.

Since application deadlines are approaching, I wanted to confirm if these have already been sent out or if there is a timeline for distribution.

Thank you very much for your guidance!

Hi everyone!
I’m currently preparing my MBA applications and I already know that some schools provide an application fee waiver if you request it directly from the admissions office.
I’d like to ask – what other ways are there to obtain an application fee waiver? For example, through MBA/Grad fairs (QS World MBA Tour, Access MBA, The MBA Tour), GMAC etc
If anyone has recent experience (codes from events, webinars that grant waivers, organizations that sponsor fee waivers), could you please share? It would really help me to plan my applications more strategically.
Thanks a lot in advance 🙏

Hi. A lot of people here got their application a few waivers from the MBA spotlight fair. You would get 12, but they’re all attached to email or sometimes even name and email.

You must have attended the event to qualify for the waiver so there’s no way to just give me a code and waive approach. You have to actually attend an event to qualify
