Assuming they're paid equally for an equal amount of work, in 3 days, Ferman will complete 3/6 of a job, and Kelly will complete 3/8 of a job, so together they complete 3/6 + 3/8 = 7/8 of the job, and Mary must have done the rest, or 1/8 of the job, and must have been paid 1/8 of the total, or $80.

Kelly's rate - 1/8
in 3 hours they complete: (3/6)+(3/8)=7/8
1/8 work done with help of Mary, so $640/8 = $80 was paid to Mary
