Thanks , are you saying i could reach out to the schools, which rejected me without an interview earlier in round 1.?

Posted from my mobile device

Yes.... the worst they can do is reject you, which they already have done

Great job by the way! Have you done anything different this attempt? What do you attribute your score increase to?

Not really, I always knew I could always bump up my Quant score to 50. Scoring a 51 however is a matter of luck too.
For Verbal too, I am not really sure if I did anything different than my last attempt except that the RC went well, I guess, don't have ESR yet though.

Awesome! Well, that’s a big difference of a score. 770 will be a much better score to apply with. Good idea retaking!

Congrats on 770! That's a big leap of score. What is your IR and AWA? Can you share your debrief on how you prepare?

Guys,

First of all, I wanted to share with you all that my GMAT journey has now ended today with a score of 770 (Q51, V44). I had previously scored 710 twice, once with a Q49, V37 in May 2019 and then with Q48, V40 in July 2019.
I now have a few questions, since I couldn't make it to the first round of a lot of top B-schools in the US earlier. Can I now apply to the same schools again or do I have to sit out for this admission cycle for those business schools? Also is it worthwhile to apply after round 2 as an International applicant from India, though I am currently in US for more than 3 years on an H1B? Do I stand a chance for scholarships after round 2?

Thanks
Okay bb covered stuff up
But
Still,
Congrats on a stellar GMAT, can you PM me about what you used, like materials, your strategy and stuff. It can help others

And regarding the question
No, you cannot apply to same B-schools
Yes you have to wait for another year( 8 months) for same Bschools
How many did you apply to anyways?
Yes you can get scholarships in Round 2
Yes it is worth applying in second round
Yes with a 770, you definitely have a chance for scholarships in round 2, given the other stuff is good enough
