Congratulations on the great score.
What material would you suggest for improving quant section? Then do you think practicing fro OG and GMATprep is not worth?

Hi,
I am not saying GMATPrep or OG does not prepare you. But My Gmatprep experience is that quant can be so different in terms of questions compared to the ones in the practice material. My first suggestion would be "make your basic knowledge strong". So whatever the computer throws at your during quant you will have some idea as to how to handle the question. I think another important point is to develop a certain solution technique to certain problems. Number theories, percentages, word problems, algebra. If you can approach them systematically then your job becomes easier. My first quant score was 44 then I purchased the gmatclub tests. My quant shot up to 49 after one month. So I really recommend them. Gmatclub tests and gmatclub forum questions will definitely carry you to 48+.

Take care

Hello;

Thanks all for the wishes. I just started applications. Lots of essays:))))
Anyway after my verbal dropped in my second exam (from 37 to 31) I bought OG 10th edition and worked on SC1000. I believe if you work out these questions meticulously and learn the concepts behind SC questions and participate in the GMATclub froms I dont see why you cannot get 40. The weird thing is in my third exam I thought i nailed verbal section. But I got 38 at the end. Anyway, this is my advice.

Take care
