Put x=0, then y is 1and put y=0, then x=1/√3 ..
So it forms a right angled triangle with sides 1,1/√3 and 90° at origin..so sides are in ratio 1:√3:2, (1/√3):1:2/√3
Thus a 30-60-90 triangle...with 60° with x-axis in the triangle..

Now a perpendicular will make 60+90 or 150° with the negative direction of x-axis or left of the point where this line meets x-axis.
Therefore with positive direction it will be 180-150=30..

Neither is the OA correct nor is the question any close to an official question.
