Hi everyone,
I just took my first mock test and scored 360. I didn’t fully understand all parts of the GMAT. I am thinking of taking GMAT on Jan.25th. I don’t work for now. I can study as long as I want. However, is it possible to reach 700+ within month and a half from 360. Any advice?
Lost hope 🥲

Honestly, jumping from a 360 to over 700 in just a month and a half is quite ambitious. The GMAT tests a range of skills that usually require time to develop and refine.

To give yourself the best chance of success, it might be wise to consider pushing back your test date. This will allow you ample time to thoroughly understand the concepts, work through the practice material, and take more mock exams.

If your difficulties with the practice test were largely a result of your unfamiliarity with the GMAT (e.g., the data sufficiency questions threw you off, the sentence correction question format didn't make any sense, etc.) then it's conceivable you can increase your score to 700+ in 6 weeks, but it's quite likely you will need more time.
I suggest you familiarize yourself with all aspects of the GMAT and then try another practice test to see where you stand.

Hi Khandaa214,

If I'm being totally honest, I do think you'll need closer to 6 months to improve your GMAT score. Thus, I would also make the switch to GMAT focus as the classic GMAT will be gone by January 31st.
