Guys: I just came back after a disappointing 2nd GMAT. Very depressed right now...very...This time I got 640 Q49V28 (during verbal test I suddenly found out I have 18 minutes for 25 questions...I dont want to think anymore. that was my luck)
First time I had 660 Q47V33..I am done with GMAT and i have already devoted enough my time - so no 3rd time.
I have 4 yrs work exp. in Automotive manufacturing and R&D. 2 yrs in India, 2 yrs in US, 3 months project in Japan. Nothing special just a promotion from Engineer to Sr. Engineer. A MS degree 3.8/4.0. BSc 3.1/4.0. Good rural community service and rural community organization for 3 years during and after my undergrad. What are my chances at INSEAD, UCLA and ROSS. Can i dream of anything above that too or I am dreaming too much already? Where do I have good chances..Ohio State, SMU etc

When looking at a school check out the average GMAT score and the middle 80% score range. Ross' is 640-760. While a 660 (that's the score you'll apply with) may not make an adcom sit up and take notice, it also isn't so low that it's out of the range. If you don't want to take the GMAT again and you feel like the other parts of your application are outstanding go ahead and apply. People get into good schools all the time with lower GMAT scores or a low GPA or less work experience. If you think you'd be competitive in every other area it doesn't hurt to give it a shot.
