_R_R_R_R_R_ - Let R denote red bottles, the blue bottle can fill up one of the 6 spaces. So 6 ways.

Note: If the red bottles were unique, the total ways of arrangement would be 6! = 720, which is not in the option. So it's safe to assume the red bottles are identical.

There is no mention of the red bottles being unique so we must assume that they are identical. There are 6 ways that the bottles can be arranged. Answer choice "E".

This is a permutation with indistinguishable items problem.

Since there are 6 bottles and 5 of them are indistinguishable red bottles, we can arrange the bottles in 6!/5! = 6 ways.

Answer: E

There are 6 bottles and the arrangement comprises 6 bottles so

Arrangement

6!

Though there are five bottles and one blue bottle

5! and 1!

6!/5!1!= 6
