Focus on work in April? I'm out of here in a Month or two...

I know it's tough to say motivated. I worked up until 8/15, but suck it up for a few more months and go out with a bang, not a whimper. I've never heard anyone wish they worked less hard in their last few weeks. Your reputation is on the line.

yea this is true. i'm definitely still doing what i need to be doing (and then some), but a lot of people can tell my heart isn't in it. the quality of my work hasn't suffered but it does make the days longer lol. i'm keeping myself busy by making decks and procedures for my teammates for when i leave :)

June 20th will be my last day. Today is my first day back after 3 weeks off for my wedding and honeymoon, so really struggling to focus on work. Curious to know if people are doing things other than travel.

I am weighing my options currently and am not positive what I want to do with my ~2 months off.

Other than a short trip here and there, I am mostly spending time with family and friends while I have the chance on top of generally decompressing from work. Been a long time since I had more than a couple of weeks to relax!

20 more days (14 more work days) left, I'm so glad I chose to leave work early and travel. Don't know how I'd do this a few more months.

Wow not long then mgg. Any thoughts on how you are celebrating your departure? Mass email to your co-workers + handshakes and the occasional awkward hug?

I'm working on a book of spoken word poetry that I'm trying to publish (self-publish) in July :o

I'm kind of in a weird situation in here...my whole team left the firm and/or changed groups, and I got assigned to a brand new team - with 5 weeks left. There's a restructuring of groups going on and all that, and I'm basically just teaching the new guys, so I'm not very close to any of them. I'll probably just leave quietly. I definitely recommend having a big going away party with your co-workers if you're close with everyone, I did that at my previous job last year, and it was a lot of fun.
