I had a friend who did a similar full-time masters in management program at Wake Forest. And another did one at Harvard's extension school (sort of like a private, but still relatively inexpensive, community college run by Harvard) in the evenings. The latter friend has actually done quite well and was able to get a senior consulting role at a mid-size consulting firm. Despite it being less selective than HBS, Harvard extension actually offers a lot of the same resources (including some of the networking, speakers, professors), so it could be worth a look. Plus a lot of people outside of Boston just assume it's the same thing as a Harvard U degree...haha
