In these types of questions, some basic arithmetic is all that's really required to get to the correct answer. You CAN potentially save some time though, depending on how you CHOOSE to do the math.
The difference in the two prices is $2.75 - $1.25 = $1.50, so each color copy will cost an extra $1.50 at Print Shop Y (compared to what the copy would cost at Print Shop X). Since we're asked for the difference in the prices or 84 copies, we just have to multiply the numbers...
(84)($1.50)
You might actually find it easier/faster to do the work this way though...
(84)($1) + (84)($0.50)
84 x 1 = 84
84 x 1/2 = 42
Total = $126
