x^2 + 2x + m = 5 , x=3 is a solution
Hence 9+6+m=5 , m=-10
Substituting m=-10 in the equation
x^2 + 2x - 15 = 0
(x-3)(x+5)=0
The other solution is x=-5
OA = A
Hence 9+6+m=5 , m=-10
Substituting m=-10 in the equation
x^2 + 2x - 15 = 0
(x-3)(x+5)=0
The other solution is x=-5
OA = A

subsitute value of x=3 in eqn x^2 + 2x + m = 5
determine m i.e 15
we would get eqn
x^2 + 2x -15
or say (x-3)(x+5)
x=3,-5 IMO A
