2 admits from US Top-25 MBA programs. ~$85K in scholarships.
Harsh’s journey is one of patience, reflection and perseverance, and the results speak for themselves.
With a background in tech and experiences across Product Management and business roles, Harsh had explored multiple sides of the technology world.
But he felt it was time to take things a notch higher: to shift geographies and step into leadership roles.
In 2023, he had applied to several US B-schools (working with another consultant) but felt his application lacked the clarity he needed.
Though he had an IIT undergrad degree, a strong GMAT score (675), and diverse experiences in Product Management and business roles, his profile presented some challenges, notably a low GPA and job switches that needed to be thoughtfully addressed.
This time around, we worked to address these gaps, strengthening his narrative to focus on his vision and the impact he wanted to make.
In our initial conversations, I could tell that Harsh was honest, thoughtful and driven – someone who’d really benefit from my mentorship.
We began with the admitStreet StreetMap questionnaire, which helped uncover the key anecdotes from his personal and professional journey.
From there, we shaped a strong narrative, one that embraced his challenges and used them to highlight growth and resilience.
Through multiple brainstorming sessions and feedback rounds, we fine-tuned the CV and essays, and made sure school-specific nuances were factored into each application.
We also did mock interviews, mapping out common school-specific questions and strengthening his response structure, delivery, and tone.
Fast forward a few months – Harsh received admits from UW Foster and UNC Kenan-Flagler, with scholarships totaling ~$85K!
