Hi All!
I signed up for the free Bloomberg GMAT course that was offered during the coronavirus period. This deal is not visible on their homepage anymore.
They initially ask you to pay a refundable deposit of ~$180 or 200 (can't rmbr the exact value) . However, this deposit is refundable if you take an official test within 90 days of completing the course, which is 3 months long (total 6 months from today), or referring 2 people. You don't need to pay the deposit right away, you can try the course for 7 days before making up your mind.
This plan is not advertised on their website anymore. However, I reached out to the support team and they mentioned I can still invite people and my deposit will be refunded. I initially planned to take the test within 6 months but due to some changes, my timeline will be bit off. Thus, I have to go through the other route i.e referring two people.
This is a win-win situation. I get my deposit and you can still sign up for the free coronavirus trial plan.
