Hello everyone. I just made and account today! I am an upcoming freshman at university of maryland eastern shore and I have aspirations of getting into some of the larger buisness schools after my bachelor's. What should I be doing as a freshman to put me on the right path?

So as a college student, you may wanna pick up leadership roles, club president, student government president etc, it is very important that you bring at least 2-3 major changes in the school. Find out the areas that the school can work in and implement innovative solutions to get out of it.
Secondly, start preparing for the GMAT, NOW!!!!!!
By the time you are in your final year, you should be done with the GMAT. Take GMAT in your second last (Third year usually)
Keep your GPA high, it is very important to shools.

Make sure you get placement in a branded company which your target schools know well
Have branded internship over the summer period
Try to start up a company and form a team
Well that is all I can say for now but this will help.

Apply in your final year in the deferred enrollement programs of the top schools such as HBS, CBS etc. You will have a better chance of showing your skills then.

Lot of work? Yes I know. I decided about an international degree many years ago thus I took all those steps.
Let me know if you need more help
Thanks for the friendly advice. Really gave me the information that I really needed. My college has plenty of opportunities to help with the gmat so I am in good company

Thanks for the good advice everyone. I was thinking about going to harvard. I am willing to do the hard work and dedication to successfully do it. But for my undergrad I am going to be taking computer science as I belive it will help me stand out just a small bit in the admissions process combined with anything I do outside my studies. Clubs, athletics, ect
