Frustrated and stuck 650 - 1 month from Test day

Question

Progression of practice CAT's. I'm stuck on Quant it seems. I know MGMAT quant can be more difficult, but I scored poorly on the GMAT prep test that I took recently as well. I am happy with V41, but would still like to bump this up a bit. I sit for the exam on July 8th, but I would like to get up to or over 700 in order to be competitive at the schools I am looking at.

 Took a long break of zero studying until April due to work

Since starting Studies again:

(4/23) MGMAT 2: 630 - Q41 V35 
(5/7) MGMAT 3: 650 - Q41 V37
(5/21) GMATprep 2: Q35 V40 
(5/30) MGMAT 4: 640- Q41 V36 
(6/3) MGMAT 5: 650 - Q38 V41

If you want to score 700 then you must improve your math score. One good way is practicing tons of questions, and understand/learn from your mistakes. I would recommend you Gmat club math questions, because Gmat club questions are highly good in quality and quantity. Moreover you can track you mistakes on your workbook.

You can easily hit the 700 mark if you focus on the Quants section.
Have you solved the questions from the OG? Those can be a good start.

What preparatory course/book are you following? It would be a great idea to go back to the basics and understand what is missing.

I agree with the above in terms of focusing on quant, but wanted to also suggest that you change the prep materials you're using to something else -- anything else. People learn in different ways, and sometimes just changing the book or study program or source you're using can help you look at things a different way, and THAT can end up bumping you up to the next level.

OptimusPrepJanielle - I have solved about 75% of the questions in the OG. I should finish all of them in the next couple of weeks. The majority of my studying has been using Magoosh along with the official guide questions. I have the manhattan books, but I have only used them sparingly as a supplement. There is some material that I haven't completely covered yet (geometry, counting, probability, statistics). I should finish up with all of the remaining content in the next 2 weeks.
