Hey guys. Been a while since I was on GC. As my signature says, I recently graduated from Fuqua, and I'd be happy to answer questions about B-school - academics, life, careers, etc. I have close friends at Darden, Haas, Kellogg and Ross, and can speak somewhat about how similar (and different) Fuqua is from those peer schools.
First thing I'd say, though, is - chill out! B-school is very easy, academically. It won't get you a job - YOU will always have to do that - but an MBA from a brand-name school has proven extremely useful for me. The administrations of all these schools pretty equally suck for customer service. Definitely do study abroad - mine was a really amazing experience, though again, not for the academic part. B-school is a little like re-living your undergrad days again. Lots of bar nights, theme parties and scurrilous activities. Remember why you're going: to get a better job. Don't buy too much into all this stuff about the "culture" and "fit" every school offers. Culture is important, I guess, but it's a very subjective thing, and any reasonably large school will offer a niche you'll fall into.

I wanted to apply for ISB, INSEAD, HEC and top 15 colleges in US. Please suggest me whether I stand any chances for the
mentioned colleges. Which colleges should I apply in US?Post mba I want to enter in General management/consultancy
Do you suggest I give GMAT again to strengthen my chances?

Congrats on your graduation from Fuqua. I will be applying for the program starting next fall. I have gone over the Fuqua website several times and have a tough time finding any information on alumni ambassadors or any way of getting in touch with Alumni.
I would like to speak and if possible have a face to face meeting with alums local to my area. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get access to past grads contact information other than paying up on linked-in? Does Fuqua have any alumni ambassadors?
