Hello! I am taking the GMAT in a week and have a simple question - I know that the timer counts down, but do the question numbers count up? Or does it count down from 31 for Quant for example?

The question numbers count up, from 1 to 31 in Quant, and 1 to 36 in Verbal.

Your question is answered by above post. Please go to exam with no stress in mind and for time management already be sure about 'at which question # how much time should have passed. make a table for this and you may make the same table on note pad provided in exam time. All the very best for exam.

Hi sammyhammy123,

Based on your question, have you taken any practice CAT Tests yet (Tests that simulate the full GMAT)? If you have not, then you might want to consider pushing back your Test Date so that you can put in a bit more study and better prepare for Test Day. For a $50 fee, you can pay to reschedule your appointment (as long as you log in to do so at least 7 full days before your Official Test Day appointment).

1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) What is your goal score?
4) What is your exact Test Date?
