I am looking for any suggestions with respect to options to pursue PhD in Management in online or part time mode.
My domain is Organizational Behavior and I am looking for something which is reputed,cost effective and has a good balance with respect to the time needed to be spent on-campus.
My goal is to eventually transition full time into research and academia.
I have been exploring the Executive FPM programs. Any thoughts or suggestions?

In which country are you looking to pursue your PhD? That can help narrow down the options significantly.
Generally, PhD programs offered by top schools are fully funded, and this funding often includes TA (Teaching Assistant) or RA (Research Assistant) positions. Because of this, these programs typically don’t offer online or part-time options, as they expect students to be actively involved on campus.
On the other hand, online PhD programs or part-time options are often not funded and can end up being quite expensive. It's also worth noting that most PhD programs don’t allow transfer students So, the plan that first enrolling online and then changing it to on-campus later may not work. However, some do allow visiting students for specific semesters if you're looking to collaborate or attend courses temporarily.
If you're considering Executive FPM programs, they can be a good choice if you want to balance work and study, but they’re usually designed for working professionals rather than those aiming for full-time academic roles.

I am based in India (Bangalore). At the moment I am targeting IIM Bangalore (which is a full time program), but wanted to explore other options as well. I don't prefer to relocate as of now and hence was interested in knowing about online or part time programs like EFPM
