thank you.
i will keep that in mind.
since i will be applying colleges in two time frames and since there will be enough time in between.
i will try few with this score and if doesn't work will give one more shot prior another few.
that last line literally makes sense.

regards
Siak

Hi SiAk.

Unless you think it's basically a lock that, with your profile and 655 on the GMAT, you'll get into your target schools, doing a little more work on DI and retaking to score in the upper 600s to low 700s seems to make sense. For one thing, it would be nice to show up with Q90.

tbh, i am following your each short articles, and i have gone through them all.
and the fact is for RCs no particular method is effective to all.
from my perspective, its all about focus/concentration during exam hours, and fatigue. for me later happened eventually.

i made a mistake by attempting Verbal at last. Since in past 3 classic experience, its been my nemesis by bringing my score down though i give 80% of my time to verbal, so i thought i will maximize my score by doing quant and di well.
DI was rather much more complex than any of the mocks i have given(offical 1,2 - 3 times, 3 & 4 - 1 time; egmat 645 in middle, expert global(scored 715, 2 days prior exam). though i scored 80 but i got 9 wrong. where as in mocks i never had more than 5 wrongs. another aspect was DS which is entirely different from classic Ds, it feels like i am solving a mini rc and or big LR. because of all this factors, and running against time in DS i was pressurized and little tired.

but sure, if i attempt next time, i would go with Q/V/DI.

one observation i would like to make with my case is in all the mocks that i have given only twice i have scored 84 and 83 which is higher than my actual verbal score

V82 - 79%ile (13 CR and 10 RC, total 9 wrong; 3 consecutive wrongs at the end because of time issues)

For time management, using question/time markers may help. For RC, becoming familiar with how inference questions work could be useful as well. If you find CR assumptions questions slippery, the negation technique could be worth learning/checking out.

Hi Siak0730,

I think this is the right move. You have a very good score, and therefore you should take the exam again only if you have the time to retake (and if it won't affect your essays/interview prep).

All the best.

I think that's a great plan.

hie, i believe its 50-50 split for Ds in Di.
but nothing compared to classic DS. DS are less maths based and more logical based.
i Suggest to practice from DS from Mba. com DI sets, which need to be purchased.
or Practice word problems, Statistics, Overlapping sets from GMAT CLUB and only official questions basis i faced only these concepts in DS in actual FE.

Even mocks official GFE ones can help in prepping; though not similar in level of length and data but will help you prepare at basic level.

i hope this helps
