I really don't like the FAANG acronym. :( Primarily because Netflix isn't a "Real" tech company, I think MAGAM--Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon and Meta--is a much more appropriate acronym as it truly represents the true power brokers.
Netflix is more a pretend wannabe tech company. :P No matter how much it wants to be a tech company, it will never truly be one. :P

Yeah the FAANG acronym is kinda silly. But to say that Netflix is not (or a wannabe) tech company, that's not smart either. Netflix single handedly distributes more content than the rest of the streaming ecosystem and they do it in unarguably the best way possible. I dont know how much you care or know about this, but they INVENTED and open sourced ICEBERG, which is now the de-facto way to store, access, and warehouse your data platform. Netflix is a LOT more than trashy reality TV shows.

Yeah… I don’t even know why it would be worth discussing... I see no relevance to this topic. Let’s move on to business school applications 👍

Interesting! I didn't know that ICEBERG was invented by netflix. :) You make a good point. :)

Yea, I probably shouldn't have said anything about it. You are right.
