I took the GMAT during Covid-19 so both attempts were done virtually. I had a bit of hubris during my first attempt and thought I could prepare by myself. To be honest, I just didn't think it made sense to have to spend $500+ on a prep course when the test was supposedly testing high school level topics. I was humbled, my first test score was 570 and I was equally crushed and motivated.
I met someone during a prospective student zoom call and they recommended that I check out EMPOWERgmat. Upon the first view, I was sold. A course that is self-directed, $99 bucks a month, and came with a money-back guarantee? I needed nothing else. I only had a month to prepare and I thought I only needed to focus on Quant. The support team was super helpful in helping me understand the benefit of striving to improve both my quant and verbal scores and I reframed my approach. It was a grind, but I was able to improve my score 80 points. While I didn't break the coveted 700, I did get into a T12 program and I owe so much to the EMPOWERgmat course and support team.
5/5 stars. Highly recommend. Especially if you're short on time and work a full-time job.

Congrats on your score and your admit! I agree! It is a great course that is super hard to beat or find a better value!

Congratulations, CAU71192, on a fine GMAT™ performance, and especially on that 13-point jump in Quant and 80-point jump in your total score. In one month, those sorts of improvements are the stuff of dreams. If you have not done so already, you might consider submitting a review for the EMPOWERgmat course. That could help the next person decide which way to go when surfing the Marketplace.
I have to say, your subject heading caught my eye. I have heard the idiomatic expression to give/giving credit where it's due, but this is the first time I have seen flowers. Is that a common expression (or a translation of one) where you are from? Please forgive my ignorance, but I am curious, and I love linguistic niche topics.
