Hello Everyone ,
I have been studying for GMAT over 4 months . I haven’t reached my prep a 100% but I guess I’m a 60-70% there . My target score is around 720 .
I have been taken Global expert 5 CATS . Following are my scores . There is huge variation in my verbal and maths score in each of it but not much in overall . How reliable are these tests ? Need an expert opinion on this one :
CAT1 : Q-45 V-38 ; 680
CAT 2 : Q-48 V-29 ; 640
CAT 3 : Q-43 V-37 ; 650
CAT 4 : Q-43 .V-38 ;670
CAT 5 : Q-49 V-31 :670

renjana,
Thanks for sharing your scores.
The performance seems promising and you definitely have the potential of scoring 720 and above.
Don't get too bogged by the dip; back yourself and say that if you could score a V37+ once, you can do so again.
There are various reasons that can lead to such dips of 4-6 points, some can be as simple as meeting one difficult RC.
Regarding the scoring, we monitor it very closely and the feedback from the last few hundred students suggest a close sync in their scores (sectional as well as total) in our mocks and the scores in official mocks.
If this is bothering you much, take an official mock with a fresh mind. Rest, focus on analyzing the mistakes and cementing the concepts- you will do well.
All the very best!
