I did try and use a fresh account. Still shows me the old score!

What can be done?
The software could be using a folder within your "local data" storage (applicable to Windows, but there should be an equivalent storage area for Macs). Delete the information there and your GMATPrep should not show any tests you've already taken (you might need to reinstall GMATPrep).

But why are you going to all this trouble? The reset feature does the same thing, and reinstalling the GMATPrep software won't suddenly make a significant number of new questions available to you.

Thanks Ajitesh,

I am not able to figure out an equivalent of local data storage.

How to I use the reset feature? Will this help me take both tests fresh?

Can you see a folder for GMATPrep within ".local"? About the reset option: it'll tell the software to "forget" which questions have been shown to you. This is what you are trying to do with the reinstall. It's not particularly useful unless someone else is taking those practice tests or you are getting back to testing after quite some time.

It has been a while since I took those tests, which is why, want to retake.

Can't find a .local folder on my MAC. Also, don't know where to look for the reset option. This is on the GMATPrep software?

Thanks

Great, then the reset option is the way to go :)

Quote:
It is possible to retake practice exams in GMATPrep. To do so, click the Reset button at the bottom left of the Take a practice exam screen. When you click the button, you will be prompted to confirm that you want to reset your responses. Clicking Yes means that you will see some questions again. Because of this, your performance may seem to improve. However, your practice exam score history will not change - scores for completed exams will still be available.

When you have reset your responses, a red line with the text "reset" will be shown. You can now retake exams by clicking the green Start chevron.
