Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to gain insights on my chances of being admitted to Kellogg's E&W/PT MBA program with a test waiver. According to Kellogg's website, individuals who qualify for a test waiver should have completed a business, economics, or STEM-related major from an accredited institution with a 3.4 GPA or higher. Below, I'll provide my profile for your consideration and would greatly appreciate your feedback on my prospects for admission.
Profile Summary:
* Graduated from a non-target university with a 3.6 GPA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with double majors in Marketing and Business Analytics.
* Business curriculum covered micro and macro economics, calculus, digital marketing & analytics, finance, accounting, statistics, linear programming & optimization, data mining & modeling, statistical modeling/scripting (e.g., R, SQL, etc.).
* Started career at a Fortune 40 technology conglomerate in their Finance Development Rotational program, involving four 6-month rotations across various departments (Sales Operations, Finance Controllership, Corporate Development/M&A).
* Promoted to Sales Planning and Strategy Senior Analyst role after completion of the rotational program.
* Currently employed as a Strategy & Corporate Development (M&A) Analyst at a Fortune 170 technology company, handling strategic sourcing, strategy consulting, due diligence, and financial modeling.
* Involved in projects with C-suite and Board of Director level exposure, potentially securing strong letters of recommendation from leaders who are Kellogg alumni.
Given my background and experience, I'm wondering if there's a chance of being admitted to Kellogg's E&W/PT MBA program with a test waiver. Standardized tests have been a challenge for me throughout my life, and I'm considering not submitting a test score to focus solely on the application process. Moreover, I'd love to save money and time given the tremendous amount of investment it would require for me to achieve a high GMAT/GRE score, especially since Kellogg is my top choice and they don't require a test submission compared to other schools. Also, I believe my career achievements demonstrate my capabilities and value to the program.
I invite individuals who have used an MBA test waiver at Kellogg or any other school to review my profile and share their insights. Your input is highly valued, and I'm eager to engage in discussion.
