I have a bad record of two attempts at GMAT, infact the last time i gave GMAT ( four days back!) i was pretty confident to improve my score to 600+/- 20..my average mGMAT practice scores-610 (SD +/- 20); GMAT prep average two tests-620 (SD +/- 10)...but i was devastated to see the score 480..
...i need serious help n inputs on how should i plan my third attempt which i plan to give latest by feb end...i want to apply to schools in R3..now that R2 with this score is out of question...!..so guys plz help me.. BB i need your guidance... BTW the split was Q37, V18 in first shot; Q37, V19 in the second shot... plz help...

With Q37, V18/19 - you definitely need to pump up the verbal. The verbal part can arguably be more important than the quant section - especially if you come from a demographic pool of candidates who are generally stronger in quant than in verbal. Always mark questions that you get wrong and revisit them before you go to bed. Your brain tends to process the information that is fresh in your head while you sleep. When you wake up and revisit the question again, you'll better understand where you went wrong so that you won't make the same mistake again.

Hey guys, I want to say few words about my story. I took GMAT and scored 470 Quantitative 25, Verbal 25. Then after one month i retook it again and scored 420 (( Quantitative 38 but verbal 9..... I am going to take GMAT one more time and i have 2 months to prepare for that. My target score is no less than 570 ; >570 . please give me any advice or suggestion how to beat GMAT and increase my score from 420 to =>570 or more. recently, i have used Kaplan's new GMAT PREMIER 2013 book to study.
