Hello Gmatclub community,
My name is Vinay. I recently attempted the online GMAT and scored a 710(Q49 V36 IR7). I am a little disappointed with my verbal result in specific as I was consistently scoring above V40+ in the mocks.
I attempted GMAT Prep exam pack 3 &4 and below are my scores: Pack 3: 750 (Q49 V44), Pack 4 : 770 (Q50 V46). The last mock that I attempted was 4 days before the exam. About the preparation I mostly used Official LSAT and Official GMAT material and was consistently above 80% accuracy in the CR & RC for 700+ level questions. In SC my accuracy was hovering between 60-70% for the 700+ and above 75% for 600 level questions.
I am a hopeful candidate for the class of 2023. I'm sharing my profile, my target schools and my Future goals below and I would like to hear from the community whether I should go ahead and apply with the current score or go for a retake. Looking at the current situation wherein I don't wherein I don't have an option but to wait for the retake till test centers are open again, I'd really appreciate the opinions from the community.
My background: I am an Indian male, currently staying and working in Canada for the last more than a year on a permanent resident status. By the time I go to school next year my total international experience would be more than 2 years ( I hope that counts for something). I have an engineering and a Master's degree in Rural Management from India with a graduation CGPA of 4. I have worked in India for a little less than 5 years, 3.5 years of which was with a top Indian Private bank in the role of Investment manager. In that role I advised Non-Resident Indian clients on their investment strategies in India. During the 3.5 years in the role I was promoted twice and was awarded with numerous accolades. In the role previous to that I worked for 1.5 years at the grass-root level in Villages of India, helping the less privileged communities solve few of their daily issues.
Currently I am working with one of the top five banks in Canada as a Financial Advisor, advising clients on their day to day banking, investments and borrowings. my post-MBA goal is to get into the field of Asset management and my long term goal is to be a Fund Manager.
Target Schools: SC Johnson, NYU Stern, Foster, Emory, Tepper & Rotman

There's a huge difference between a V36 and a V46 - totally different level of reading comprehension and writing skills. So I don't know what's up with that, but it sounds like you should definitely retake if you have the time.
