3. Provide a pre-MBA internship opportunity with real Product Management Experience to help with career transition
4. Create a safe environment to experiment, try things out, improve, and even fail
5. Create more opportunities for GMAT Club users to get involved in decision-making, management, and execution
Pre-MBA Internship Overview:โข You will be responsible for setting the strategy and determining the growth path of your product.
โข You will get to see and experience how GMAT Club works behind the scenes. You will work with GMAT Clubโs founder, moderator team, developers, and designers.
โข You will be conducting research such as user surveys, interviews, etc to identify user segments and develop a strategy for multiple profiles.
โข You will decide the pace of your product. You will be the decision maker when it comes to the time and task at hand. There are no set hours.
โข Internship Timeframe: 3-4 months
โข Estimated workload: 10-15 hrs/week on average. (some weeks it may be 20 and some only 5); no set hours. This is not intended as a full-time job.
โข During the internship you will have an appropriate title on the Forums identifying you as a PM for a specific project.
โข At the end of the Internships, you will receive a stipend of $1,500, experience letter, reference, and a LinkedIN recommendation from GMAT Club.
Requirements: 1. You
must have an R1 Admit, WL or R2 Interview Invite.
2. Must be done with the GMAT.
3. There are no citizenship/location requirements. No age, gender, or other restrictions โ everyone is welcome to apply.
4. You can apply for up to 2 positions at a time (Primary and Backup)
PM Projects Available:1.
Error Log - this internship will focus on upgrading the existing
Error Log product on GMAT Club. Improving features such as reporting/analytics as well as potentially combining
GMAT Club Tests and Forum Quiz Error logs into one. The internship will require conducting a survey, conducting interviews with product users, building a business case, working with UI and development teams to deploy upgrades. Finally, marketing and promotion of the product after launch.

GMAT/GRE Integration - this internship will focus on developing a strategy for integration of GMAT Club's GRE Prep Club property back into the site and evaluating pros and cons of multiple options. The goal would be to improve the offering presented to the GRE test takers as well as transitioning current users to a better platform (focusing on building a business case, transition plan, communication and messaging, and finally launch)

Reviews - this internship will focus on upgrading the UI of GMAT Club reviews, making product more useful, and improving experience for both those who contribute and those who check the reviews. Your job will be to evaluate several opportunities for adding value to the Reviews Product and finding the best ROI. After definitng the scope of your internship, you will work with the UI team to develop the pages and then oversee implementation, testing and rollout with the development team. You will learn the process of upgrading, releasing, staging, and testing.
