I gave my first official practice test and got a V33.
I was really surprised because I got 3 RC passages in first 10 questions (2 short and 1 long). I was so thrown off by this! All contiguous and no SC and CR questions in between. Since first few questions are so important, I almost lost my mind and couldn't focus.
My general strategy was that in worst case I get 2 RC in first 9-10 questions and if I take 2-3 mins more than normal I can trade speed for accuracy and not be hurt too much. But I had to spend so much extra time and my mind was so blown. Ultimately, I did end up getting 4 questions wrong in first 10 anyways and I spend a lot of time.
Is this thing normal? Did something worse than this happened to you on actual GMAT? Obviously, I will prepare for this situation on test day. And it is not like I would have got 40+ if this didn't happen

. But I want to hear opinions/suggestions.
