If you draw a circle it is a little be easier to resolve the question, but it is still very tough.

1) Draw a circle with points A and B and try to see where D must be in order to have ADB acute. You will notice that this information helps you to know that D can not be between A and B. However, there is no information about C, and we can not realize anything about C. Without information, without comparison
INSSUFF

2) At a first glance we might think that it is sufficient. But to be sufficient the point used as a reference to be the angle, should be the same. Thus the major the angle, the major the arc. Yet the length will depend on the place of D.
INSUFF

Both stmts together then is SUFFICIENT
