I'm not able to access the test either. I believe it's the Daylight Saving changes that became active last night onwards. So, probably, if you are located to the east of US, you should be able to access the test after an hour - unless there's some other issue with the test access. :-)

i gave one test and now while trying to choose a second one, its taking me to the purchase page. I am logged in but the error isn't letting me take any more tests in the hardest questions series. Please help. I found the first test really useful and would want to continue with more.

If it doesn't let you take the test, then you're not logged in. If you're logged in to Forum it doesn't let you take the Tests. You should log in on the Tests page itself:
https://gmatclub.com/tests/
