A. Correct- adding additional water to the tank ensures that after the business trip, any evaporation that occurs still keeps salinity levels at a safe level.

B. Incorrect- past duration of business trips has no bearing on this one, it's possible that this one can be the exception and take longer

C. Incorrect- Fish undergoing stress due to changes in salinity only weakens the conclusion

D. Incorrect- Moving to a desert region would increase evaporation of the water in the tank and bring the salinity levels to an unsafe range even faster

E. Incorrect- The salt collecting and crystalizing has no bearing on the conclusion suggested.

A. Elimiate. The honeymoon opened with the considerably lower salinity making more adequate space before critical values.

B. Weakening. The focus is on the matter of extending the trip rather than on the salinity levels of the aquarium.

C. The issue of stress of water refill is also discussed but is irrelevant in the case as Kara is not going to refill it on this trip. Wrong.

D. The desert climate provides for fast evaporation hence higher salinity levels. I don't think this is correct.

E. Strengthening/It was mentioned that if crystallized salt occupies walls of the tank, salinity will rise slower as compared to the honeymoon period.

I think the correct answer is E

A This weakens because it means the honeymoon wasn't a fair test.

B She already said the trip won't be extended.

C This is about adding water, not leaving it alone.

D It makes evaporation faster, which weakens the argument.

E Best option. If salt crystallizes on the tank walls instead of staying in the water, the salinity won't rise as fast, making the trip safer than the honeymoon was.

The correct answer is E

D. If water evaporates more fastly then salinity will increase more fastly. This weakens argument.
E. When water evaporates, salts crystallises rather than staying dissolved in water. If salt crystallises on walls of aquarium then there will be less salt in the water. It will become saline slowly. Strengthens the argument. CORRECT

This requires us to understand the Premise and Conclusion correctly in the Pre-thinking before moving forward:

Argument: Kara concludes she can leave the tank unattended because she did so before when she went on her 9-day honeymoon
Premise: That salinity levels in the aquarium are required to be maintained. And when they are left unattended, the salinity levels increase. Kara was able to leave it unattended earlier and proposes to do so this time, without adverse effects.

With this - We need to look at factors that strengthen the proposition that water evaporation will not lead to increased salinity that would harm the fish.

Options:
A - Incorrect. If she added a lot of water, then the water would evaporate and increase its salinity. It doesn't give the solution that salinity would still be maintained comfortably with increased evaporation.
B - This is an assumption and cannot be used to predict anything. What if it increases this time? Irrelevant.
C - Trap answer. The trap is in recognizing that if Kara's fishes experience psychological stress when a large amount of water is added, but it doesn't provide any indication that with increased evaporation the salinity may not increase proportionately.
D - Incorrect. This would weaken the proposition.
E - CORRECT. If the salt crystallizes in the imperfections, then they wouldn't mix in the water or dissolve and be left behind during the evaporation. Hence the level of salinity even if the water evaporates wouldn't be as high. Thus, the option correctly correlates between the water level and less impact of salinity, thereby safeguarding the fish.

IMO ANS is A

A & E close choices but I feel if she put more water then she have time to fill back so that is good option option E could be the reason because it says small crack save salt but I feel A is the correct answr in my opinion I could be worng and other B C D I don;t feel the answer choice thanks!
