for SU, number of public projects dropped from 95000 (1970) to 70000(1980)
in 1958 IS was at 24% of GDP in soviet
in 1980 IS was at 15% of GDP in soviet.
during this time, india spent on infra 20% of GDP
argentina spent on infra, 12% of GDP.
find conclusion.
when there was high public project, SU spent more on infra through GDP. but when public project got reduced, infra spending got declined as well.
the info about india and argentina is just for insight.
A passage doesnt try to convey that GDP size is related to public project. GDP size can still be big but they are not spending enough since public project has gone reduced. reject.
B we cant say this for sure. we only know that india and argentina spent more perentage of their GDP than SU. but that doesnt necessarily mean that amount actual spent was higher. out.
C this is more a general statement and just because it works with SU doesnt mean its going to work out for all. because we dont know the public project in india and argentina.
