It is not bad. I started at 530 and ended with 750 but it all depends on how much effort/time you have to put in.

Let me add another thing - It is better than what quite a few people score without studying at all. If you study seriously, you will see some major improvement in the first few weeks.

Provided this is your first encounter with the format, types of questions, peculiarities, etc. of the exam, this score is absolutely natural, it is not a bit indicative of your upside potential - the latter is only limited by the number 800 =)

That said, just like anyone else - you have a tough journey ahead of you - learning strategies, refreshing old concepts, learning shortcuts, etc.

Provided find a way to trick yourself into being highly motivated - 800 is the limit =)
