GMAT FE 675; Flagged for administrative review?

Question

Hi all, 
 I gave the GMAT FE today (at the exam center) and got a score of 675. It was a smooth experience overall, however, I received a mail about an hour after my exam saying that my exam had been flagged for administrative review. I wanted to understand if this is a routine process, or a cause for worry! Can’t think of anything out of the ordinary other than the fact that I got a 50 point improvement over my last score. Please advise!

Is there a helpline number that I can contact for further clarification as I have important deadline coming up in the next 2 weeks and the email says that the review might take upto 20days!

I took my first GMAT on 31st Oct and got flagged as well. I took an exam in India at a test centre setting. Unsure why this happened.

I gave the test today and got an email just 15 mins after I left the centre that the score is flagged for review. The test process was seamless, nothing flagged by the test centre as well.

Apoorv0194 ,  Aditya2901  - What were your exam centers? mine was Pearson VUE... The test center said they didnt raise any tickets on their end so it probably flagged by GMAC for some reason.

I took the test at the test center based in Pune. Was an official test center. I'll check with them and please share if anything changes in your situation as well.

It was Pearson VUE

This should get cleared; sometimes students get these reviews when there is an unusual jump or a very high score. At test centre, it should be a bit safer than if it was raised in an at-home attempt.

Getting flagged for review doesn't automatically mean your score will be cancelled. Wait for the official email/notification from GMAC.

why they flagged your score for review? is there any specific reason as i'm also planning to give my gmat around my deadlines and if these kind of things happens, i will be cooked

They didnt give any reason.. On searching a bit I found out there can be several reasons. Some suspicious activity during the test, Technical issues during the test, Score improved by a good margin or maybe just a random check

They seem to be doing this more recently; it should be just a security measure they are taking for some reason; let's not worry.
