GMAT Focus 715 Experience Debrief

Question

I started using TTP after self-studying for 1 month, after only scoring 615 on the first mock exam, I realized that I needed some sort of tutoring/lesson to help me get to my destination. I learned about TTP through a YouTuber who has used it before, and I initially trialed it for 5 days. Since signing up, I could not stop myself from staying on the platform all day with the comprehensive lessons and limitless number of practice questions. After 5 weeks of immersing myself in TTP for a total of 175 hours, I received 715 on my first attempt at the GMAT Focus Edition (100% Quant, 79% Verbal, 98% DI). I am truly grateful for this platform and the awesome work done by Scott and his team, and I would recommend TTP to anyone who is looking to take the GMAT exam.

Yes, I got 6 questions wrong for Verbal, 4 questions wrong for DI, and a perfect score on Quant

Hi Congratulations for the fantastic score. Will you please guide as to how did you prepare for data insights? Did you just use TTP or did you also practice with some other resource?

Yes of course.

Maybe not the most helpful answer, but because of my background in finance/accounting and working in equity research for 6 years, data insights especially the graph analysis part was natural to me. I did not pay too much attention to that and all I did was try to improve my speed by try not reading every single detail but still being detail-oriented enough to not make any careless mistakes. On the other hand, data-sufficient type of questions is more like quant, as you improve your quant skill, it should help you score better on the data-sufficient DI questions automatically.
