Hello,
I'm just starting my journey towards the GMAT, and the sheer number of study materials available online and offline is quite overwhelming. Presently, I have less than a year of professional experience under my belt. While I'm not rushing into applying for an MBA program, I'm contemplating doing so in a couple of years once I've acquired 2-3 years of experience. Since GMAT scores retain their validity for five years, my focus lies on attaining a commendable score within the next year to ensure that this aspect of my application is already done when the time comes.
Although I haven't undertaken the initial diagnostic official practice test yet, I plan to do so shortly to assess my starting point without any prior practice. My goal is to achieve a score of 655 or higher on the GMAT Focus edition, which corresponds to a score of 710 or above on the traditional GMAT. However, after taking the practice test, I'm uncertain about the most suitable course of action. While I've heard positive reviews about resources like
TTP and
Manhattan Prep, I'm also contemplating using other resources such as GMAT Ninja and GMAT Club questions or even the
OG alone. Nevertheless, there is limited information available on effective study strategies for the new Focus edition as it is a recent addition and there hasn't been much research done on the best ways to study with it.
Any guidance on the optimal study plan, resources, and timeline for preparing for the Focus edition would be great!
Thanks in advance
