Sounds like you're finding the best time to take the GMAT. Both times are good. Take a look at a few practice questions and see how comfortable you feel. If you feel pretty good, go ahead and take the dive for an earlier test and enjoy the summer.

If not, taking it in the summer is great as well.

Two weeks is definitely possible. I've done it myself--though I still recommend at least 3-4 weeks to build familiarity and comfort. Congratulations on finding the perfect window of opportunity to take the exam. Good luck!
