not an expert , i am also facing the similar things but recent RC series of GMAT ninja is helpful, also @72387513081860 has a very good platform built to address this issue and recently he has added CR as well.
a quite helpful guide to understand the problem or RC and get to the context
Thanks Roushan.

Sure, if anyone is facing issues with verbal, please feel free to DM.

Also how is everyone getting out of the RC slump? I am facing trouble with every RC question currently. I have tried many things but somehow it’s not going right. Breaking the sentences down, writing key summary. But every option is so close
You could also try to follow Sunny page for RC I feel he have 1 or 2 video on youtube but those are brief technique to solve RC...
Or maybe you can join this WhatsApp grp weekly meeting kind of grp from sunny if that help in any way...

I am planning to write my GMAT within next 2-3 months. Currently I have an accuracy of ~75% in Quants, ~70% in Verbal and ~60% in DI. I am aiming for >=715.
Also, I struggle more with question between 555-655 level but not so much with question >655 difficulty. This is little bizarre.

Any tips?

715 is a very high aspiration and that’s good to know u targeted it
Would suggest to take a guidance if u r facing difficulties in crossing 655+ LOD barrier

I think he is saying otherwise he is good after 655 😅 and low accuracy between 555 and 655 little weird in my opinion but if i correctly read this 😅

Ohhh
That might be stress and making silly mistakes

When we only do difficult questions then our mind isn’t ready to accept the simple questions and we think ki kuch toh I missed and we start overthinking

can we expect this type of questions in DS?

Not likely.

Pure algebraic questions are no longer a part of the DS syllabus of the GMAT.

DS questions in GMAT Focus encompass various types of word problems, such as:

  • Word Problems
  • Work Problems
  • Distance Problems
  • Mixture Problems
  • Percent and Interest Problems
  • Overlapping Sets Problems
  • Statistics Problems
  • Combination and Probability Problems

While these questions may involve or necessitate knowledge of algebra, arithmetic, inequalities, etc., they will always be presented in the form of word problems. You won’t encounter pure "algebra" questions like, "Is x > y?" or "A positive integer n has two prime factors..."

Check GMAT Syllabus for Focus Edition

You can also visit the Data Sufficiency forum and filter questions by OG 2024-2025, GMAT Prep (Focus), and Data Insights Review 2024-2025 sources to see the types of questions currently tested on the GMAT.

So, you can ignore this question.

Hope it helps.
