Also, I am residing in Mumbai with test taking centre in Andheri, wanted to understand on the centre - what kind of noise and do they give noise cancelling earphones, how effective is it and do only GMAT test taker go to that centre. Also would love to know anything else that is relevant for the test centre
I have taken GMAT from the Andheri centre. They provide noise cancellation headphones. But I personally found it too heavy to be comfortable. So I did not use that for most of my exam. The environment was quiet. There will be other students giving other exams simultaneously. It is a small space (around 15 people capacity). They will allow you to start exam early if you want, if you reach early. Passport was the only doc asked to me.

Hi everyone, my name is Akshat Srivastava. Five years of on-and-off prep, no paid course or tutor (the GMAT Club tests and adaptive quizzes I use are redeemed with GMAT Club points, and GMAT Ninja’s Wednesday sessions are free), and one official mock sitting at 625. I got tired of guessing why, so I exported my whole error log and sliced it by difficulty, failure mode, answer-choice bias, and time of day.

Three things came out that I honestly can’t tell are real signal or just me fooling myself:

On Data Sufficiency, I pick "C" on 47% of my misses. C is right only 16% of the time. Almost half my DS errors are one reflex.
A full year of logging, and my Hard-level accuracy hasn’t actually climbed. Volume looks like it just plateaued me.
When I model the swing between sessions, a single mock turns out to be ~70% noise. My good days and bad days move far more than sampling alone should allow.

The whole thing is in the attached report: the difficulty matrix with confidence intervals, the DS and CR breakdowns, the time-of-day effect, and the variance math behind that last point. It opens in any browser. Here is the link :

https://claude.ai/public/artifacts/6bed ... 5748feb1ad

What I’m after isn’t applause, it’s holes. If you’ve crossed 700, are these the levers that actually moved your score, or am I chasing the wrong things? Tell me where I’m reading my own data wrong.

(Once I’m through my own exam in early July, I’m glad to build the same report from anyone’s error-log export, free. Drop a note and I’ll find you.)

Wow that's really amazing !

A couple of points that I found worth noting

1. The accuracy on medium CR questions was lower (55%). While harder questions would naturally be wrong, it would be ideal to get medium questions to 70-80%
2. Particularly towards DI, you should maybe also integrate a timing analysis. From my experience, DS questions often go wrong because I fall short of time towards the end and rush through questions and really don't setup the question and arbitrarily apply logic which is a similar tendency to go through the most logical statement

Lastly, a request if you could share the prompt or skill to build the artifact. It would help me a lot to analyse my mocks and GMAT club data as I also have relied on GMAT club for over a year
Hey, thanks for reading the report. I agree on both counts.

However, I have already factored in the timing along with the difficulty level. I even have an in-depth version complete with admissions/school analysis factored in.

P.S., I would gladly share this with you. But I'm actively making changes in the dashboard, and quite busy with the GMAT sprint.

Please drop me a text and I'll get back to you. Thanks again for your support!

I’ve noticed that my scores have been dropping with each gmat club mock, but at the same time, I feel the difficulty level has been increasing—especially in Quant and DI. Has anyone else experienced this? Are the later GMAT Club mocks intentionally more difficult, or is it just me? How did your GMAT Club mock scores compare with your official GMAT practice test scores? Any feedback/experience would be helpful. Thanks
