Is the UK job market actually worth it in 2026?

Thousands of students spend INR 1 crore+ on a UK degree. Half of them didn’t know what the job market looked like before they applied.

Don’t be one of them.

Today I gave a mock on GMAT Club and score was underwhelming. I felt that Q and DI were really difficult, as in, I got majority 805+, has anyone else faced this recently? should I be taking this seriously?

which mock was it? I mean was it gmat club mock 1 out of the 12 tests available?

Why do you ask, is it about accuracy of gmat club mock tests?

Yeah, something I noticed, I can be wrong though! I noticed that as I move towards later mocks, I am getting harder questions. My hypothesis is, since a lot of beginners appear for the initial mocks, the candidate pool is larger and and also prone to making more mistakes, so the percentile seems to be larger than the later mocks, which are attempted by candidates who have practiced enough, so most of us do good in the later mocks, thus raising the hardness. If this is right, then one might think that they performed well and still get lesser scores and percentile, because everybody else also performed well. I’m assuming 2 things here - 1. the question pool for all the mocks is not same, that means for each mock, we get questions for a separate pool of questions whose hardness is decided based on people appearing for that mock only. 2. Gmat Club mocks calculate scores based on how we did compared to other candidates, that means they calculate score based on percentile and not the other way round!!

Can someone suggest effective ways to improve speed on Rate/Work questions? They’re easily my weakest area. The strange part is that I usually know how to solve them, but I still get stuck midway, possibly because the questions feel lengthy. Once I realize I’m taking too long, I start panicking, which makes me even slower and more prone to mistakes. Has anyone faced something similar, and what helped you overcome it?

Maybe you are right,
Also if thats the case, our score depending upon how others did is not the right way,
I guess its not that way.

Little awkward observation but seems very logical... is it same we could observe in official mocks also 😅
And did this mean mock #8 would definitely be tougher than mock 1 ?

I don’t know.. but I would guess the exam works in the same way coz at the end of the day that’s what percentile mean, how you are did as compared to others.

Agreed but then fair evaluation would be if we do percentile calculation as a whole not each mock level ... right otherwise newer mocks percentile would not be that accurate... I'm just giving my logic I maybe wrong... If just few people say just 3 people have given still maybe we will calculate on the basis of that and it may give unfair score but im not sure but good observation many things many observations haha

Guys, need a suggestion regarding GMAT prep.

I'm using OG and GMAT Club right now. The problem with OG is that the questions are not properly arranged topic-wise. If I want to practice, say, Ratios or Number Properties in a structured manner, it becomes difficult.

With GMAT Club, there are tons of questions, but many times I feel that several questions are testing the same pattern with just different wording.

Can anyone suggest a good source (book/course/material) for topic-wise practice where questions are arranged properly and cover different patterns within a topic? Looking for something that helped you personally.
