Yes, you can absolutely get a good score using traditional approaches. But as you start pushing toward higher scores, time management becomes increasingly important, and that's where smarter approaches can make a real difference. There will be some questions where a brute-force method is the only practical option and may take 3-4 minutes or even longer. In those situations, having saved time elsewhere can be invaluable. That's why it's worth learning alternate approaches whenever possible. Sometimes they help you solve a question faster, and other times they can give you a backup path if you make a calculation mistake and find yourself stuck with your initial approach.
