Hi GMATNinja, I was able to re-solve my incorrect questions for week 1 and they were mostly careless errors due to rushing through them along with timer anxiety, so does this mean that I am now done with my careless errors? and should I move to next week or should I solve another fresh set of 25 questions from week 1?
I'm struggling to restrain myself from quoting really old South Park episodes, even though they have nothing to do with your GMAT situation.
The short answer: the most important task you face right now is learning how to avoid making those careless errors in the first place. Until you can CONSISTENTLY get through practice sets without a single careless mistake, you'll have no chance of reaching your full potential on this exam.
It stinks, but that's the reality of an adaptive test like the GMAT: if you make sloppy errors, it doesn't matter how good you are at the hard questions, because you'll never even see them.
So dig into the underlying habits and anxieties that cause the carelessness, and make perfect execution (miss all the hard ones you want, but don't ever make a sloppy mistake) your main focus for now. There's little point in moving on to harder stuff or practice exams until you've stamped out the errors on questions you're capable of answering correctly.
I hope that helps a bit!
P.S. BEEFCAKE!
