Hello,
sanskrit. Either edition of the OG is fine to practice from. The 2018 edition has 900 questions, while the 2022 edition has more than 1000. Obviously, you get more questions in the latter, but many questions do overlap. One benefit of purchasing the newer edition is that you gain access to the online question bank through Wiley Efficient Learning. Practicing questions through that platform, which allows either a quiz mode or a study mode, each of which has a built-in timer, can help you get used to conditions that are closer to those on the actual exam (compared to preparing from a printed guide or a static PDF). You also gain access to exclusive online material for the IR section.
That said, you can also find all the questions from the most recent edition of the OG right here, on GMAT Club. You can either search for individual questions through the
Official Guide master directory (just click on the appropriate guide and then run a search on the new questions, those that are
highlighted), or run a search through the
Practice Question Banks and select the appropriate tags ahead of time (e.g., "Critical Reasoning," "Source: OG 2022"). In other words, finding new official questions is easy. Just be aware that if you check the OG master directory for the 2022 guide, there are no new questions, so you may have to go back to the OG 2021 instead. (A few questions were removed between the two editions, but no new ones were added.)
I hope this information may prove useful to you. Good luck with your studies.
