Dear experts,

I would like to take your views on solving the GMAT paper test questions for my retake. Considering that these questions are 20 - 25 years old, does it make sense to practice them on top of solving all the OG and VR/QR questions that are in this forum?

Many thanks,
Maria

Hi,
The best source to prepare and practice questions is always the OG if you are done with the basic study. You need to analyze each question deeply even if you marked it correct. Carefully look how they craft these questions and find patterns. Yes, it is worth spending time on OG questions even if they are old. You can also look at the following helpful forum: https://gmatclub.com/forum/should-i-ret ... 83339.html

Hi Maria,

There are plenty of high-quality practice materials available, so you don't "need" to work through those older pencil-and-paper materials. Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi MariaAntony,

I’m happy to provide some advice; however, I’d also like some more information regarding your situation with the GMAT. Once you respond to the questions already asked, I can provide some further advice.

Good luck!
