Gmat official practice test whiteboard

Question

I just did Exam 2 of the official Gmat practice test set, and midway through I noticed the whiteboard button. Up to that point I had been using the gmatclub one in an another window.
I noticed that in the official gmat one, I can't add a line break in the text box (i.e. 'Enter' doesn't work), and the letter t on my keyboard doesn't work (i.e. if I press t, nothing shows up).

Did anyone experience these issues? Can someone that took the gmat online confirm that we can add line breaks in the text field?
Does the real gmat look the same as the test prep?

Thanks for the question and and interesting feedback a out the gmat prep version of the whiteboard (it got added a few days ago... same time they announced ability to use physical whiteboards)

A few people have reported that the official whiteboard on the test does not support shortcuts but I’m not sure about enter or the T sticking. Let me find out.

I just tried and my T was working and so was the enter. Attached is a proof of GMAT Prep on Windows. In Chrome.

Thank you for checking. My issues were on Firefox, so I guess using Chrome is the safer bet.

At the end of April, we discussed that you were planning to take the GMAT in approximately 4 weeks. Did you end up taking the GMAT as planned or did you push back your Test Date?

GMAC recently announced that test-takers who take the GMAT on (or after) June 11th will be allowed to use a physical whiteboard and pen to take notes (in addition to having the option to use the online note-pad). The discussion-thread on that subject can be found here:

Depending on your Test Date - and how far you plan ahead - you could potentially avoid the issues with the online notepad altogether.
