Couple of hours ago I registered to take the online gmat exam. Entered all the details, booked a slot, and paid the amount but the confirmation I received on the examity portal had some other candidate's name and details on it. Some time later I got an email from examity with the invoice but my gmat account still shows "no future tests" nor have I received any confirmation email. If anyone has faced a similar issue or knows what is to be done now pls help.

This is a new one to me, and I have been following GMAT Online news closely. I am guessing the recent switch to Examity has caused some sort of disconnect, but apart from contacting customer service on the Examity end and/or GMAC™ end, I am not sure what else can be done. I will ask for a second opinion from two others who probably know more about the process:

Unfortunately you’re not alone. It seems like a bag that has happened to at least one other person:
