If not, I would purchase Vis a Vis dry erase pens (Make sure not to purchase wet erase pens as they are different - I would also recommend purchasing more than 1, maybe a 5 pack). When you do that, you can purchase some overhead trasparencies and tape these to cardboard, or to printer paper (to give a white background) to make your own scratch pad.

So you need dry erase pens and a white board or overhead transparencies. I'm sure someone will ship these items to your location!
This indeed seems to be pretty good alternative. Thanks GMATLA for the alternate tip.

I used a paper and pen for the most part (I had the pad, it was annoying to clean).

Just limit yourself to the # of pieces of paper (front and back) and use it like you would use the pad (flipping of the binding)
