GMAT payment voucher/promotion code

when you pay for the GMAT on mba.com, there are two boxes at the bottom of the screen that ask for a payment voucher or promotion code. How do i get one of these? Edit: Moderator Edit: We have searched for a long time and are continuing to monitor the internet - so far GMAT Payment or promo code vouchers do not exist. In certain countries, vouchers may be issued for a few of the applicants rescheduling their appointments, but nothing exists on a large scale that would allow to save on GMAT registration. As soon as one of these becomes available, we will promptly inform you.

Great question - my guess is that you would get a voucher in case your appointment was rescheduled or canceled for some strange reason. However, never heard of a promotion code - perhaps some functionality that was built in but not used? Anyone ever used these? P.S. Looking at this thread GMAT mba.com promotion code or voucher and searching on the internet the code does not seem to have ever existed

Hi all,
I have got one gmat voucher or promotion code ready that I am not going to use this year. It's valid until March 2012. Feel free to avail the same, just throw your email ID down here and let me do the rest for you, I seek pleasure in helping my friends out.
see you

FYI - according to GMAC, they provide ten promo codes to schools that request them. If you have financial difficultly, it says to contact your school and see if you can get a code from them. Not sure if that helps.

username123 wrote: Yes, this is helpful. By "schools", do you mean undergrad schools give these out, or the actual mba schools? BSchools get 10 vouchers per year to distribute, so you have to contact the school you apply for and indicate financial hardship. See this one for the details: http://www.gmac.com/gmac/TheGMAT/GMATFe ... efault.htm

Thanks Only schools have them - get in touch with the school you are planning to apply to and mention that you are in a severe financial need

Hi, Can I get the code? I was let go at my job , so I am currently unemployed. Unfortunely, I have not found a job, so I am applying for grad school. I am applying for fall admission, but I don't have the money to take the GMAT in May (2010). Admissions deadline is June 1st. I REALLY need this code because all the agencies I have contacted are out of funding and UC said they were not giving out vouchers this year. THIS CODE IS PRETTY MUCH MY LAST HOPE. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can help. THANKS!!!

so many requests for the promotion codes try to read the thread first. But the main point here is that you can`t get anything for free. So, save your time - and you`d better prepare for the gmat for not retaking it many times and wasting additional money

Could you please send me the voucher? I recently moved to another city and do not have limited resources.
Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I realize this is probably not what anyone is looking for, but I currently have a GMAT voucher that is useless to me. Its worth $250, and I'm willing to sell it for $200. If there are any takers, just contact me at [email address removed] Thanks.

I don't think begging is the best approach for getting into an MBA program. Just a thought....even into Pepperdine MBA

I got a promotion code directly from GMAC probably because I had cancelled my scores. They sent me a voucher for 20% off if i register within a week (Citing it as a second chance). The deadline is already over though.
